A Frida Kahlo cushion cover is very tough to do. When we imagined Frida, we only imagined how she would be in her real life. After a lot of research and sketches, we wanted to incorporate a little bit of contemporary design with monstera leaves and the flora and her trademark pose. This design has been hand drawn by Bahaar (with whom we collaborated) on this project and then hand embroidered by artisans of the SEWA community in Gujarat. What you see is a 100% handmade product exclusively made by us.
